Learn Indonesian Video – Cutlery (Alat Makan)


In this video, we will learn Indonesian words that we can find around the kitchen and dining tables. The Indonesian translation for “cutlery” is “alat makan”. “Alat” means tool or equipment and “makan” means to eat. In some villages, people still eat with their bare hands instead of using cutlery. They claim that it’s more intimate and the food tastes better.
