UKBI Preparation Course starting 28 Mar 2017
Taught By The Official Trainer From Indonesia
Through the months of March-May, an official Indonesian Language trainer from the Department of Education and Culture of Indonesia will be in Singapore to conduct a series of classes.
Susani Muhamad Hatta, the trainer, is a native speaker of Indonesian, graduated from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, majoring in English Language and Literature. He has been teaching Indonesian to foreigners since 2007. He is currently a staff of Development Strategy and Language Diplomacy Centre at the Indonesian Language Agency, the Ministry of Education and Culture, Indonesia.
UKBI (Uji Kemahiran Berbahasa Indonesia) is the official Indonesian language proficiency test in both oral and written. This is the only official test from Indonesian government. UKBI tests the usage of Indonesian language in different modes of communication and language style. They can range from informal daily conversation to formal written communication used in media, public, textbooks, etc. There are five sections in UKBI; multiple choice questions (Sections I, II, and III), writing (Section IV), and listening (Section V).
