Business Indonesian Class for Beginners


Our Business Indonesian Class for working professionals course is specially designed to introduce useful phrases commonly used in business interactions. Whether it’s with your Indonesian partner, counterparts, or even with friends, many of our past students find that our training is highly effective and practical. With the guidance of our experienced native Indonesian teachers, you will certainly meet your training goals.

Our teachers have been coaching conversational, business Indonesian to corporate clients and private individuals since 2004. Our past clients include Public Services Department, MINDEF, MOE, Singapore Cancer Foundation, UOB, Citibank, General Atlantic, Credit Suisse, Research in Motion and many other local and foreign companies.

Learn Indonesian Asia has also formed collaboration with the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore (KBRI) to organize Uji Kemahiran Berbahasa Indonesia (Indonesian Language Proficiency Test equivalent to TOEFL). With more than 10 years of experience in Indonesian Language Training and a strong relationship with the Indonesian Embassy, you can be sure that we know what we are doing.

Indonesia adalah negara yang memiliki banyak suku dan budaya. Menurut sebuah sensus Badan Pusat Statistik pada tahun 2010, ada 1340 suku di Indonesia. Semua tentunya tahu bahwa masing-masing suku punya ciri khas budaya termasuk kulinernya. Bayangkan seandainya sebuah suku mempunyai 5 kuliner saja, maka kita tinggal kalikan 1340 dengan 5. Hasilnya adalah  6700 macam kuliner!

Script to be sent to education@indonesianembassy.sg by 18 May 2016.
Length of speech is 7 minutes, followed by Q&A for 3 minutes.

Speech competition will be held at Indonesian Embassy of Singapore on 28 May 2016 (provided there are enough participants) at 10 AM.

Script criteria:
1. Original content.
2. Original idea.
3. Formal Indonesian typed on A4 paper, double spacing.
4. Doesn’t contain any provocations related to race, ethnicity and religion.

Speech criteria:
1. Flow
2. Accurate grammar used
3. Content of script
4. Pace
5. Gesture
6. Loudness
7. Duration

2 winners will get air ticket and accommodation to Jakarta and Yogyakarta for cultural trip.
